MTV Unveils Star-Studded Lineup for 2024 VMAs, Honoring 9/11 Anniversary

MTV has announced the 2024 VMAs will air live from UBS Arena on September 11th at 8 PM ET/PT, reaching audiences in over 150 countries. The event will feature performances from some of the world's biggest superstars, with a tribute to the 23rd anniversary of 9/11. This year, MTV is supporting the nonprofit 9/11 Day and Tuesday's Children, which support families affected by the tragic event.

The lineup includes Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro, and Sabrina Carpenter. Camila Cabello, a four-time VMA winner and GRAMMY-nominated pop superstar, will perform for the third time. Chappell Roan will make her first-ever award show performance, while GloRilla will debut on the VMA stage. Rauw Alejandro will perform from his upcoming album, and Sabrina Carpenter will make her main stage debut.

Cabello is also nominated for Best Pop and will receive a special fan tribute from BACARDÍ Rum. The nominees for this year's VMAs include Taylor Swift with ten nominations, followed by Post Malone with nine. Fans can vote for their favorites across 15 categories until August 30th.
